About Us
An elegantly restored 18th century farmhouse
Our chambres d’hôtes “La Pi’ternelle” is an establishment located in Palaille, on the border of the departments of Lot and Aveyron. We live in a beautiful green area in a hamlet near Salvagnac-Cajarc. We recently reopened after a complete interior renovation. Peace and quiet are central to life here.
There are many beautiful places to explore in the area such as the Gouffre de Lantouy, which resembles a lagoon that appears out of nowhere. The area invites you to explore and simply enjoy the tranquility that you will find here with us.
We look forward to your visit! We speak Dutch, French, German and English.

Restaurants
In Cajarc and Limogne-en-Quercy you will find several restaurants that are open for lunch and/or diner, in hign season
Sight Seeing
Visit one of the most beautiful villages of France: St Cirq Lapopie. 30 minutes from our house.
In 20 minutes you will be in Villefranche-de-Rouergue, with a nice farmers market on Thursday mornings.
Cajarc is within 8 km, with its restaurants and a market on Saturday afternoons.
Adventure
Walk around and try to find Gouffre de Lantouy.
Canoeing down the river Célé.
Walking through the woods.
Daytrips
In de omgeving zijn vele dagtrips mogelijk, naar bijvoorbeeld de stadjes Najac en Cordes-sur-Ciel, Rocamadour en de grotten van Gouffre de Padirac. De zondagse markt van Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val… Uw gastheren kunnen u alle informatie geven.
There are several daytrips to be made: to the small towns of Najac and Cordes-sur-Ciel for example. Or Rocamadour and the famous caves of Padirac. The sunday market in Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val.

Checkin & Checkout
Our standard check-in time is 5.00 PM. Please leave the room before 10.30 AM. Changes upon request.
Payment conditions
To confirm your reservation a 30% deposit is required.
House Rules
Although we love animals, we do not accept animals in our Chambre d’Hôte. Our accomodations are not suitable for children. Our house is smoke-free.
Cancellation Policy
To receive a full refund, you must cancel your reservation at least 14 days in advance of your arrival.

I had an amazing time with Alain and Erik, they are wonderful hosts. If you look for a healthy place to enjoy the nature around, here you are. Actually, I am planning to go back as soon as I can.
